HINT WHAT These sunshades originated from the question whether one material could be used both in a flexible and a more rigid state. WHY A material with flexible, rigid or more dense properties as needed, would allow products to be made from just one material, instead of having to be made from two. HOW Sunshades can be very muggy and usually block all the sunlight. Sometimes however, partial shadow is more desirable. These sunshades of woven polypropylene ropes are partially heated to increase density locally. As such, the sunshades provide different shade patterns.
WERELDBURGER WHAT This wooden game is developed for small kids to learn how meat consumption influences climate change and how important it is to counter this fenomenon. WHY Kids learn fast and are the future of the world. By involving them in this matter this early, they will grow more aware in the future. HOW The game makes a connection between climate change and the toppings you put on your burger. As you add more meat to your burger, the icecap you are building decreases in size. The player that builts the biggest icecap wins the game.
